Sabi ng kaibigan kong si Merriam Webster, ang ibig sabihin daw ng resilience ay “ability of something to return to its original shape after it has been pulled, stretched, pressed, bent, etc.”
Okay, Tagalugin natin.
Kapag may baha, ginagawang swimming pool. Kapag may lindol, nagbabakal, nagkakapera pa. Kapag may ulan, shower daw. Masarap maligo.
Positive Thinking vs. Audacious Faith
Positive thinking and faith are different. Nonetheless, faith leads you to have positive thinking.
Positive thinking refers to something that is coming from within. It is a decision to look at a thing or event in a certain way. It is taking confidence in your own self. Dahil ditto. Ang positive thinking ay pwedeng pumalya. May mga kahinaan kasi tayo. By nature, negative thinker ang tao. Madalas, medaling magbago ang mood.
On the other hand, faith is based on something that is outside of self. It is placing your confidence in Christ who is powerful, who died on the cross and has risen from death.
Positive thinking is only a temporary fix for things but faith is a permanent solution. Wow, audacious! Nosebleed. Audacious means being bold and daring. You are not afraid to take risks dahil alam mong may kakampi sa sa itaas. Ang lahat ng bumanggâ, gibâ.
